This small parish church has an exceptionally interesting interior and fine monuments. The tombs of St John Thornbury 1396 with effigies of knight and his lady and the tomb of St Phillip Thornbury 1456 are canopied in a wall opening between the chancel and the NE chapel.
The original pendants suspended in the Nave, Aisle and Chapel were removed and replaced with DALI LED projectors. New lanterns have been installed to the north and south porch and flood lighting to the east/north elevation to compliment the illumination of the south elevation carried out in 2011. All new lighting is controlled from a 10 button scene plate and a visitors switch at the south porch entrance and now installations can be operated from a smart device such as a phone or iPad if required.
